My Spring Music Playlist | 2017

My Spring playlist consists of my favourite songs right now, or the songs I have had in my playlists from March and this month. As I have been creating playlists for each month of the year so far, well starting at February. However I have actually changed where I listen to my music, from spotify to apple music which I will do a blog post about - "Apple Music vs Spotify". I have had apple music since march 26th when my brother got 3 months free with his new headphones, but has a windows phone so gave it to me. Which was super lovely of him and it saved me renewing my subscription on Spotify for premium.

There is a real variety of music in my playlist, but that seems to be the case for so many different people. I hope you guys get round to listening to at least one of these songs, they are great and I tend to have them on repeat all the time - that is if I am not listening to High School Musical or Starstruck! Thank you for reading and I will see you next week with a post I am very much looking forward to.

My Everyday Make Up Routine | Spring 2017

A long awaited make up routine, which I have had written for ages but never got round to post it so today is the day! I actually love how it turned out today, and sadly I am not going anywhere as it is Easter Sunday and my mum is decorating the bathroom.

Before I even start doing my make up, I have been putting moisturiser on all the time but the new step is using my Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe herbs and rosewater before I put on my make up. The foundation I have been using, for 2 weeks I would say, is one I used when I first started wearing it in year 10. I ran out of my L'oreal one and wanted to try a different one so I resulted back to this one, as I loved it when i first got it and it has SPF in so was perfect for all the sun we were getting.

Rimmel London: Lasting Finish Foundation
Collection: Lasting Perfection Concealer

Rimmel London: Brow This Way - Brow Sculpting Kit
Rimmel London: Brow This Way - Brow Styling Gel

Rimmel: London Stay Matte
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Collection Blush

For my eyes I have added something new, instead of just mascara and highlight. I have added in the factor of bronzer to add some definition and colour to my eyes. Mixing the bronzer with the highlight, from the Nars illuminator and Naked 2 pallete it looks great and has become new go to look.

Nars Illuminator
Urban Decay: Naked 2, Bootycall
Maybelline NY: Lash Sensational Mascara
Smashbox Mascara: Full Exposure

Before I the lipstick, I spray my face with the facial spray and then the setting spray to keep everything in place. The facial Spray can be used as as so many different things, on the bottle it says "Use it to set makeup, soothe your skin in dehydrating conditions, or to give your skin a quick boost anytime, anywhere."

Rimmel London: Matte lipstick - Trendsetter
Avon Setting Spray
Mario Badescu Facial Spray

So this is the final look! I took my glasses off for the photo's so you can see the look better and because the reflection on them drives me insane. The lighting was great from the windows but you could see them in the glasses, if you wear glasses you will understand this struggle too.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post!

MASSIVE Lush Haul | 2017

I have been waiting for ages to post something like this because I LOVE Lush and well I went very overboard when I went to London!! I explained the story over on my blog post called 'My Birthday Weekend', so if you don't know be sure to check that post out to understand!

Onto the post, and I think I will go through this in like sections of bath bombs, bubble bars, bath oils face masks, scrubs and then to the spray.  Quite a lot of the bath bombs are actually part of the Easter range they have a Lush so they will only be there for a limited time, if you are thinking of trying them. I'm not sure how long they are there for though.

  1. Chick 'n' Mix
  2. Metamorphosis
  3. Golden Slumbers
  4. Which Came First?
  5. Golden Egg
  6. Mother Earth
  7. The Comforter Bubble Bar
  8. Baa Bar Bubble Bar
  9. Double Vitality Bath Melt
  10. Pearl Massage Bar
  11. Bubblegum Lip Scrub
  12. Sunny Day Anti Static Hair Detangler
  13. Rosy Cheeks Face Mask

This Bath bomb is of course part of the Easter range, and is called Chick 'n' Mix. It fits together perfectly but turns into 3 bath bombs. The idea is adorable, and I can't wait to try this.

Finally a black bath bomb!!! When I was there, the woman was explaining to me the idea of this bath bomb. She said that it almost explains the idea of light coming from dark, as so many bright colours come out from the middle when it is in the water.

When I was in the Lush store we actually tried this bath bomb in one of the sinks, and it lasts for 3 minutes and produces so much glitter! I turns the water like pure gold, along with all the glitter. It was so beautiful and actually does last that long!

The idea behind this bath bomb is so random and you would have no idea unless you asked about it, but this bath bomb actually has a secret one in the middle! You can crack it onto the side of the bath and find a little bath bomb in the middle. They do have two designs for thus bath bomb, so if you don't like this pattern there is a different one.

My friend actually got me this last year for my 17th, and when I told her about his trip she asked if I had bought it. The Golden egg is one of my favourites mainly because of the glitter but also due the smell, which is quite orange. I didn't have this out for long, as you can already see my thumb has tones of glitter on.

The lovely team at Lush on Oxford Street were extremely kind a gave me a gift of Mother Earth, which is the Massive Bath bomb at the back. It is one of there kitchen exclusives and I am very excited to try it, however will be carefully when I drop it in as it is massive!

This is my favourite bubble bar from lush and I have repurchased this many times, can't wait to use this!

I have never got round to trying a bath melt and I am obsessed with the smell of this one, so i can not wait to try it. i have heard lots of good things about them!

The Pearl Massage bar was a gift from my Aunt, and I have never tried one of these before but when I was at Lush the woman told me all about them. So I am super excited to try it!

The Lip scrub, was a repurchase as mine had run out. I am now on my 2nd one of it, as I bought my first one from America last year. So it lasted me over a year, which is brilliant and I am always using it before i put anything on my lips.

I tried this in the shop have been using it all the time since I purchased it, as my hair get's crazy frizzy and well crazy at times. So I have been spraying it in my hair after I have washed it, just before I go to bed and it smells beautiful! The other day I used it on my dry hair and my friend told me how lovely my hair smelt and it does smell amazing.

That is it for what I bought from Lush, on Oxford Street. Thank you so much to the lovely team at Lush for being amazing as always and gifting me Mother Earth, very excited to try it. Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you very soon!
