A Day in my Life | Winter 2017

I was struggling for ideas recently, if I am honest and have been swamped with a lot of work so writing a blog post was honestly making me more stressed. But I have found a great idea for today's post, which will be a range of different things. A day in my life, I thought it would be a different post as I have never really done one of these before and it seemed like fun! So I am going to take you along with me today, show you where I go, what I do, who I'm with and most of all what I eat!

Before you start, be sure to check out my social media they are all on the page at the top or linked on the word 'social media'. I posted a picture from here on my instragam and I have been using the 'instagram story' a lot more recently. So be sure to follow me, if you want!

I have started creating a playlist for each month of the year, beginning with February and will soon be making a March one! So if you want to give it a listen I will have it linked for you

spotify playlist - february 2017

I ended the day but letting my hair air dry whilst I did some school work before eating dinner which I forgot to photograph but it was beautiful. Mum made steak, with roast new and sweat potatoes along with a peppercorn and mushroom sauce, some carrots and green beans.  Before bed I watched GI: Retaliation as it was on Film4 and then went to be around 11pm ish.

So that was my 'day in the life' and my casual and calm Sunday. I hope you enjoyed this and I will see you on the 1st March with a new post! As I got super busy expect 3 posts coming out this week (hopefully). Thank you so much for reading.

My Book List | 2017

I have recently started reading again. I've been reading before bed instead of putting my tv on and it has been great. I have just finished After You, which is the sequel to Me Before You. I actually bought this for my mum for Christmas and she hasn't long finished it either.
I have been accumulating a list on my amazon account of books I have been meaning to order and read but have put it off after I didn't read much on my holiday last year. However I love reading and I want to do it a lot more. Instead of watching TV shows or movies all the time before bed, reading. That doesn't mean I will stop watch TV, oh no I would never! But change it up a little, and see if it possibly improves my sleep in a way.

The next few books are one's I actually own and plan on reading next, and they seem quite typical for someone my age- if that makes sense. I started reading Fangirl a while ago but never got into it, so i'm going to give it a good go! I also purchased the two John Green Books once I finished The Fault in our Stars as I'd fallen in love him as an author. I read Looking for Alaska and then Paper Towns and fell in love with him even more. So I purchased the other two but then never read them, which is sad and I have just never gone to pick them up again. Finally is Zoe's second book, I have not touched since I got it for Christmas when it came out- honestly can't remember when that was. Again I haven't had them time or really wanted to read so it has been sat their for a while. I loved her first book so much, I am very excited to read this one.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog post and maybe it has inspired you to pick up a book up at some point today. Thank you for reading and I will see you next week!

Current Music Obsessions | 2017

I have done a post similar to this but I thought I would share with you my current music obsessions as I have been listening to it a lot more and have a wide range of music which might appeal to everyone. I also got a new phone so I have no music on it yet apart from Spotify, so I have been on there 24/7.

These songs have been my go to tunes over the past month or so, I have had them all on repeat. I have found a new love for some old music from either the 90s or 00s, along with some chart music and some songs from current movies. Of course The Vamps and Bea Miller are on there, I mean it wouldn't be a music post if they weren't on it. If you guys didn't know, I am a massive fan(girl) of both The Vamps and Bea Miller. I have seen The Vamps many times but haven't been lucky enough to see Bea yet, hopefully when she comes to the UK I will.

I love all these songs for different reasons and if you get the time I would defiantly give them all a listen and maybe even watch the movie they are from, apart from Fifty Shades.  As 1) it isn't out yet and 2) it is an 18 so even I even won't be watching, well until it is on DVD as I will then be 18.
