2015 Favourites

Last year I found a lot of new things, updated all my make up collection. As I went from wearing just mascara to having an awful lot of make up, which I am obsessed with. Passing my GCSE's, getting Netflix and becoming more and more obsessed with TV shows and Films, watching more YouTube and starting this lovely blog! So firstly I want to talk about my Beauty favourites of 2015.

Beauty:
I never thought I'd actually buy this year but since I went to America in November I treated my. And that is Urban Decay's eye shadow palette Naked 2. It is has such a wide range of colours, each of the shadows are so pigmented and blend so well together. I have to say I so glad I picked up this one and not the others because the colour's go really well my eye colour.

Next is of course Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer, which has been in basically all of my monthly favourites last year because well it's amazing! For the price it works so well and last ages, it blends in so well with my foundation. Especially when I'm using my beauty blender. In Business the other day we were talking about high end products and low end products and how the price effects the value, and some of the girls were saying how the think Collection isn't a brilliant brand but I had to disagree with them. However some of the products aren't as good as something like Channel they are still a really good make up brand that is really affordable. Which is what I love about it.

L'Oreal Paris's Infallible Matte Foundation, I first picked this up during summer because everyone was raving about and I need something matte for summer and I have been using it non stop since then! I am currently on my third one which is quite strange but since I started using foundation I have been changing each time it runs out. It's coverage isn't too high and is brilliant for school as well, even though I don't have to worry about my make up at school anymore.

Next is another product that everyone was raving about and that is Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara. I eventually picking up in Asda one day and being so happy that I did because it was so much better than all the other mascara's I had used previously. I have never really stayed with a mascara for long but I have with this one, and my family obviously knew I loved it because my auntie bought me a new one for Christmas.

Finally is Maybelline's Colour Tattoo, in the shades On and On Bronze and also Permanent Taupe which I originally picked up in America to use as a base with Naked 2. But they both last all day, blend really well with other eye shadows, especially with colours from Naked 2 and The Nudes by Maybelline also. They are brilliant for school if I don't want to spend to much time on my eyes or even If I'm going out and want a little colour for my eyes that will last all day.

TV shows:
  • Pretty Little Liars
  • 90210
  • Orange is the New Black
  • The Vampire Dairies
  • Liv and Maddie
  • Life with Boys
  • The Carrie Dairies
  • Scream Queens
  • The Originals
  • Teen Wolf
The list is super super long I know, wow I have no life and I won't talk about them all but you I do recommend them all because they are all amazing and all quite different to each other which is what I love!  I managed to watch quite a few TV shows this year, mainly because I had a super long summer and get hooked on them too quickly. I originally started watching Pretty Little Liars because I had been watch Gabby's Videos (velvetgh0st) and she went on about it so much so I gave in it was the first show I chose to watch when I first got Netflix. It is amazing and wasn't I expected but that's what I love about it, it isn't your typical girly tv show, it has a twist.

Next was 90210 and it actually came up recommended once I finished PLL so I gave it go, it took me a while to get into but after a few episodes I was hooked and had to keep watching. I was so hooked and when it came to end the end of season 4 I realized season 5 wasn't actually on UK Netflix. So I found a way, buy downloading Hola onto Chrome and watched it on America Netflix.

I actually started watching Orange is the New Black at the same time as PLL but got to episode 3, stopped and then started again just in time for season 3 to be added. Next is my favourite TV show, The Vampire Dairies. I started it when I was on study leave in the summer because my friend,, Hannah, came round to watch the new PLL episode and she managed to persuade me to watch the first episode. So we watched the first episode together and after that I have been in love with it. I have actually manage to watch season 1 to 5 twice and cried more the second time round, opps.

Next are two girly tv shows which are very different and are the last I am going to talk about because if I talk about them all I will be going on for ages but the 2 of them will be in my January Favourites anyway. So Life with Boys and Liv and Maddie are both on American Netflix and are my favourite girly shows on their. I watched Life with Boys on tv so decided to watch both of the seasons, which I loved so much and then Liv and Maddie I saw advertised when I went to Essex and thought it looked really good. There is only 2 season's on Netflix currently as the 3rd is being shown on Disney Channel so if you have I recommend you watch it! Right okay, that is enough about TV shows!

YouTube:
I found so many more YouTube channels this year but my favourites have to be:
Finally music, I found a new artist this year and then found her boyfriend (who my best friend met and loves lot) and was so happy I did. And they are Bea Miller and Jacob Whitesides. I bought her album, Not an Apology, when I went to America as it wasn't available in the UK and it is insane, I'm super excited for her second one. She is amazing, considering she is the same age as me. Next is Jacob and I sadly don't have any of his music but I listen to his EP's on Spotify all the time, he has such an amazing sound and I wish I went with Faye to see him live earlier this year.

My final favourite of the year is The Vamps, as they finally released new music and an album in time for their tour this year. I have been waiting ages for new music, as when they released 'Wake Up' it had been about over a year since they released they last song / EP.

That is it for my favourites, and wow that was a lot. I'm sorry if I got a bit boring at points my bad I just loved a lot of things. What did you guys love last year? And do you have any YouTube / Music / Beauty recommendation for me this year?

Because I can learn to drive in March, go to a festival with my friends, and I just want to do so much more than I did last year. Even though last year was amazing it was pretty awful to so I just want to make every moment this year count.
