Travel | Brighton & London

For ages I have wanted to visit Brighton and finally we got round to doing so. We spent the 3 days staying in Essex planning on spending one day in Brighton and the other in London. Sunday we went to Brighton and walked along the front, sat on the beach and ate churros, walked through the town and around the Royal Pavilion. It is so beautiful, however it was really busy so we didn't go down the pier but overall it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be wanting to go back.

On Monday we went into London, visited Covent Garden because I haven't been there since I was little and I have grown up a lot now. We then headed to M&M world, again, it now seems to be a regular thing when we go into London however my mum had never been before so my brother and I had to take her. We then headed over to Oxford Street for Lush, House of Fraser and Primark. I picked up 2 new products from Lush, a Christmas angel and Pink sparkly bubble bar on a stick, I can't remember the names but I think the star is one that comes every Christmas. I think I'm getting a little too excited for Christmas now, even though it isn't November yet and we still have Halloween and I have my trip to America soon.

I hope you've enjoyed this post and I'll see you in my next post!

October Favourites

Hello everyone, it's finally the end of the month meaning favourites time. It's one of my favourite posts because I get to write all about my favourite things from the month and it's just exciting to write I guess. So let's get started with Beauty first.

The first beauty item isn't actually a product but a brush, from H&M too. I went down to Brighton last Sunday, as you will know if you follow me on twitter and instagram. So I made a stop at their H&M, I haven't bought anything from their in a while as I had gone off it but I found quite a few new items of clothing and this brush. Firstly one of the things I love about it is the price, it was either £1.99 or £2.99 but I can't remember or find it on their website. However not only is the price amazing it is brilliant, especially for blending. As the brush is bigger than my other one and it just works perfect. I must say I am so happy I found it before I spent a lot of money on another brand.

Next is a mascara and I have seen so many people rave about this certain one and a couple of weeks ago I gave in and bought it. It is the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara. I must say, I agree with everyone who has been raving about it. It is amazing, it makes my lashes look amazing and if i curl them they stay cured pretty much all day which is brill!

Next is Music, and recently 2 of my favourite bands released an album and the other a new single, with an album on the way very soon. So I have been listening to them on repeat!
First one is Scouting For Girls, with their first album in 3 years called Still Thinking About You. I actually only just purchased the album last week but I have been listening to it on spotify since it came out. I have loved these guys for ages and I have been lucky enough to see them 4 times, twice at Big Gig, once on their own tour and finally at Splendour Festival the other year. I am also seeing them on the 22nd November which is super super exciting.

The other band is The Vamps, and the brought out their new single Wake Up the other week which I have been loving an awful lot. I bought their Wake Up Bundle which had a few new songs on also which have also been on repeat. I also saw them last week during Half Term at Capital Exposed with Dino and Pete, in Nottingham which was amazing.
The Capital Street Stars kindly took this photo of my friends and I, at about 7am in the morning.
If you want to look at all of their photos they are on the Facebook page
this was taken on my phone and zoomed in quite a lot so I apologise for the quality
Finally is Films / TV Shows, which are always a big part of my monthly favourites. This month I started watching a new TV show on netflix as they just added season 1 even though season 2 was on there already. It was a little weird but I wasn't complaining because they added the first one. It is House Of Anubis. I watched season 2 when it was on Nickelodeon but never saw the 1st one and I wanted to watch something different so I started this. I love the show, but it reminds me of when I was watching 90210. Like when I started it I was like this is so bad it's good but buy the end of the first season I was in love with it. It's kind of like that, it took me a while to love it but now I watch it all the time and my mum is starting to moan because she really doesn't want to watch it.

Next is a film, Hotel Transylvania. I decided to watch it as it was Halloween last month, I'd never seen it before and finally because I'd seen the trailer for the second one and really wanted to watch it. So I decided to watch it the other day and I love it! It isn't like what I expected but to be fair I wasn't really sure what I was expecting, but it was brilliant. I do recommend you watch it if you haven't already that is.

The final TV show is Big Bang Theory, I have just started re watching it from the beginning again for like the 100th time. Also season 9 have just started on E4 which I am super duper excited about and for season 8 on DVD.

Next is a random favourite and it's a little plaque I bought the other week from Next home. I have been picking up lots of different plaques for around my room and I must say this is my favourite out of the 3 I've got. I just love the quote on it but also the fact it's on wood and the pretty ribbon.

Well that's it for this month's favourites, next time I write one I'll be able to write about things from America which is super exciting! It's like 9 days now I believe until I go. I will be doing a What's In my Carry on Bag sort of blog post soon, either this Sunday or next Monday it depends when I put up some of my other posts. Well I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you in my next one!
