My Favourite Christmas / Winter Films

So it's almost Christmas, 5 days away so I thought i'd post some Christmas posts. I haven't been feeling very christmasy yet but suddenly I have and since I don't have a lot of Six Form work to do currently I thought i'd get back to blogging.

1. Mean Girls
This may seem a little weird because it's not technically a christmas film, but I watched it the other week and it got me feeling in the Christmas mood because they sing Jingle Bell Rock in the talent show! You can also watch it all year round which is fab but I prefer watching it near Christmas!! Any girl around my age, 15-16 maybe younger or even older will love this film! I remember watching it for the first time in a GCSE RE lesson in year 10.

2. Nativity 1 & 2
Nativity is one of my all time favourite Christmas movies, makes me feel like a young child again. The story lines are amazing, they are both different to most Christmas films I watch which is what I love!! The actor's they picked are also what makes the film, they make it so much more funnier and enjoyable.

3. The Santa Clause 1, 2 & 3: The Escape Clause.
These film's are quite different to the other's as it is about everything to do with Christmas, and then Santa's family in the North Pole and back home.

4. Muppet Christmas Carol
Christmas Carol is one of my favourite things about Christmas but I love this version of it even more! The muppets always makes me laugh and cheer me up no matter what age I am. I love which muppets they chose the play each of the roles and the fact it's not just Muppets there is people too!

5. Arthur Christmas
I think it was only a couple of year's ago I managed to watch this and I'm so glad I did because it's one of my favourite Christmas movie's! I bet some of you were expecting it to be Elf but no! I actually don't like Elf the movie, ever since I was a little girl i haven't. But Arthur Christmas is my Elf, my favourite Christmas movie!!

What are your top 5 christmas movie's?

Travel | Brighton & London

For ages I have wanted to visit Brighton and finally we got round to doing so. We spent the 3 days staying in Essex planning on spending one day in Brighton and the other in London. Sunday we went to Brighton and walked along the front, sat on the beach and ate churros, walked through the town and around the Royal Pavilion. It is so beautiful, however it was really busy so we didn't go down the pier but overall it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be wanting to go back.

On Monday we went into London, visited Covent Garden because I haven't been there since I was little and I have grown up a lot now. We then headed to M&M world, again, it now seems to be a regular thing when we go into London however my mum had never been before so my brother and I had to take her. We then headed over to Oxford Street for Lush, House of Fraser and Primark. I picked up 2 new products from Lush, a Christmas angel and Pink sparkly bubble bar on a stick, I can't remember the names but I think the star is one that comes every Christmas. I think I'm getting a little too excited for Christmas now, even though it isn't November yet and we still have Halloween and I have my trip to America soon.

I hope you've enjoyed this post and I'll see you in my next post!

October Favourites

Hello everyone, it's finally the end of the month meaning favourites time. It's one of my favourite posts because I get to write all about my favourite things from the month and it's just exciting to write I guess. So let's get started with Beauty first.

The first beauty item isn't actually a product but a brush, from H&M too. I went down to Brighton last Sunday, as you will know if you follow me on twitter and instagram. So I made a stop at their H&M, I haven't bought anything from their in a while as I had gone off it but I found quite a few new items of clothing and this brush. Firstly one of the things I love about it is the price, it was either £1.99 or £2.99 but I can't remember or find it on their website. However not only is the price amazing it is brilliant, especially for blending. As the brush is bigger than my other one and it just works perfect. I must say I am so happy I found it before I spent a lot of money on another brand.

Next is a mascara and I have seen so many people rave about this certain one and a couple of weeks ago I gave in and bought it. It is the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara. I must say, I agree with everyone who has been raving about it. It is amazing, it makes my lashes look amazing and if i curl them they stay cured pretty much all day which is brill!

Next is Music, and recently 2 of my favourite bands released an album and the other a new single, with an album on the way very soon. So I have been listening to them on repeat!
First one is Scouting For Girls, with their first album in 3 years called Still Thinking About You. I actually only just purchased the album last week but I have been listening to it on spotify since it came out. I have loved these guys for ages and I have been lucky enough to see them 4 times, twice at Big Gig, once on their own tour and finally at Splendour Festival the other year. I am also seeing them on the 22nd November which is super super exciting.

The other band is The Vamps, and the brought out their new single Wake Up the other week which I have been loving an awful lot. I bought their Wake Up Bundle which had a few new songs on also which have also been on repeat. I also saw them last week during Half Term at Capital Exposed with Dino and Pete, in Nottingham which was amazing.
The Capital Street Stars kindly took this photo of my friends and I, at about 7am in the morning.
If you want to look at all of their photos they are on the Facebook page
this was taken on my phone and zoomed in quite a lot so I apologise for the quality
Finally is Films / TV Shows, which are always a big part of my monthly favourites. This month I started watching a new TV show on netflix as they just added season 1 even though season 2 was on there already. It was a little weird but I wasn't complaining because they added the first one. It is House Of Anubis. I watched season 2 when it was on Nickelodeon but never saw the 1st one and I wanted to watch something different so I started this. I love the show, but it reminds me of when I was watching 90210. Like when I started it I was like this is so bad it's good but buy the end of the first season I was in love with it. It's kind of like that, it took me a while to love it but now I watch it all the time and my mum is starting to moan because she really doesn't want to watch it.

Next is a film, Hotel Transylvania. I decided to watch it as it was Halloween last month, I'd never seen it before and finally because I'd seen the trailer for the second one and really wanted to watch it. So I decided to watch it the other day and I love it! It isn't like what I expected but to be fair I wasn't really sure what I was expecting, but it was brilliant. I do recommend you watch it if you haven't already that is.

The final TV show is Big Bang Theory, I have just started re watching it from the beginning again for like the 100th time. Also season 9 have just started on E4 which I am super duper excited about and for season 8 on DVD.

Next is a random favourite and it's a little plaque I bought the other week from Next home. I have been picking up lots of different plaques for around my room and I must say this is my favourite out of the 3 I've got. I just love the quote on it but also the fact it's on wood and the pretty ribbon.

Well that's it for this month's favourites, next time I write one I'll be able to write about things from America which is super exciting! It's like 9 days now I believe until I go. I will be doing a What's In my Carry on Bag sort of blog post soon, either this Sunday or next Monday it depends when I put up some of my other posts. Well I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you in my next one!

Travel | Suffolk 2015

Over the summer holidays I went to London as you all know but that was only for a little while and after we went down to Suffolk to stay with my Grandma and Grandad at their Caravan. We go down their every summer and I love it so so much, it is such a pretty place and makes me feel so happy. I just love being by the beach, but then again who doesn't. To be fair i don't really like the beach for sitting on and spending the day their I just love walking along it and taking pretty photographs.

I love walking down Southwold pier, I have walked down it so many times and I bought my friend with me once and she loved it! We visited Southwold and Africa Alive which is a Zoo!

I'm 16 but I still love the amusements so much and I actually won something, it was sweets but who cares! It counts!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Autumn Pamper Routine

As Autumn is the time where I can have baths more and make up a random excuse for spending money I shouldn't on lots of lush I thought I'd my pamper routine! The most important thing I like to do on a pamper night is to relax in the bath, however there are many other things to. It is important to clean all your make-up so you don't regret it in the morning and to pick a good book or even TV show. I have just started reading again in the bath and I have to say it relaxes me so much after a day or even week at six form.

Simple : Eye make-up remover
Simple : Micellar cleansing water
Lush : Reusable Flamingo bubble bar
Clean and Clear : Daily Facial Scrub
Soap and Glory : The Breakfast Club
Jack Wills : Luxury Body Butter
Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants! : Louise Rennison
Primark : Harry Potter pj's
Soap and Glory : Hand Food
Tattoo Fixers
Miranda : Season 1

I have used the flamingo and awful lot and sadly my mum stood on it, which was actually my fault but it no longer looks like a flamingo, instead it looks like a lump of pink and orange on a stick which isn't very photogenic.

What do you guys do to pamper your self this season?

Internet Friends

I have never really thought about writing about Internet friends because a lot of people don't think they are real because you haven't met them or are just jealous that you have so many friends outside of school. However the majority of those people are out partying where as I'm watching a film with my family, going on walks or sat in my room watching netflix.

I have 'met' quite a lot people through twitter but because of what we like, for example The Vamps, Loveable Rogues and YouTubers. I have 'met' lots of people because of them and one of the people I have met is also the reason I'm writing this as she told me it would be a good idea!

When you first start talking to new people it always difficult because you never know what to say as you don't know what they like and what they are like as a person. That doesn't change on the Internet. When I first started talking to Faye who I now call my Best Friend, it was awkward and we didn't really know what to say. It took us a while to get comfortable with each other. I remember when I FaceTime'ed her for the first time before me met, mainly because Hannah had forced me too because she said it was weird that I was meeting her and hadn't spoken to her properly. Which was true and I was super excited all week to call her and it was weird and awkward at the beginning because we just didn't really know what to say. But that happens when ever you meet a new person, even if it's on the Internet or in real life.

One of the things I love most about Internet friends is that you can create group chats and meet new people. I have been in about 3 and they were amazing because we talked 24/7 but that meant I woke up to about 400 messages in the morning. Someone was always awake if you wanted to talk to them, if someone saw a fit boy they had to send photos otherwise it didn't happen and you stay up and tell stories with each other when the band you love are in America but are doing a follow spree at 3:00am and you need his follow!  Yes that is true, I stayed up until 4:00am to get my Brad Simpson follow on twitter. But it wasn't boring, everyone in the group chat stayed up and we were telling each other weird stories that had happened to us.
The group chat I am in now is a group of people from Nottingham, Jake Clemmence and Adam Waithe. We all went to Connor Franta's book singing together and if something happens near Nottingham we all go together which is great!

There are some downsides to Internet friends though, which sounds weird I know but originally my mum didn't really like the idea and she even came with me when I met Faye. After a while she was fine and when i mention she just goes "from twitter?", "yes mum".
The other thing is distance, everyone lives everywhere. England, Ireland, Scotland, America and Australia. "You can bet distance but it's the missing them that's hard", my friend Hannah actually said this and it's so true.

September Favourites

Hello everyone, I have been loving a lot of different things this month as well as some old ones but I thought I'd share them with you!

Beauty:

My first favourite for this month is MAC Lustre lipstick, in the shade Midimauve. This is my first lipstick and it was a big choice to pick it. I picked it up on the way back from my holiday in Cyprus as the duty free was pretty good there! I have fallen in love with it. It is a sort of dark shinny nude, which isn't the best description I know but that's what it is.

MAC : MIDIMAUVE

Next is an old favourite which I re-purchased not long ago, it is Collection lasting perfection concealer. I love the fact it is a reasonable cheap make-up but is very good quality. I would say it is a medium coverage and you don't need lots for your under eyes meaning I don't get through it that quickly too.

MAC : MIDIMAUVE
TANYA BURR : DUVET DAY
My finally beauty favourite this month is something I mentioned in my last post and that is one Tanya Burr's new nail varnishes, in the shade Duvet Day. I have been wearing it so much these past few weeks at six form as I can finally wear nail varnish to school.

Music:

My first music favourite is Halsey's new album, Badlands. I can't even remember how I found her but I think it was on twitter and well I listened to EP on repeat on Spotify. Finally her album was released and I was super happy because I'd seen so many good reviews on it and I agree with them all so much! It is such a good album and I have to say my favourite song must be New American. This album is different to what I usually listen to but it's amazing.

TV shows & Books:

After pretty little liars finished I had no idea what to watch until I spent one night on American Netflix looking at all the recommended things for me to watch and stumbled across The Carrie Dairies. I wasn't too sure at first but that's always the same when you start a new TV show, but then my friend told me Austin Butler was in it so that made me love it even more.
It's about a girl, Carrie, who lives in the suburbs but has always loved the Manhattan.

Next is a book and I haven't read a lot recently because of school and but I was looking at my book shelf which is weird but found an old ish book. It's one of the books from the series of Angus thongs and perfect snogging. It's called 'Dancing in my nuddy-pants', it's all about Georgia's life and her 'Sex God' boyfriend who thinks she's a little weird.
I love the fact it's written almost like a dairy but not, in a way it's not.

So that is what I have been loving this month, have you guys been loving anything new this last month? Hope you enjoyed this post and i will see you in my next post.
